One of the best things about my job is meeting new people, a journey of 1000 miles means this will happen.
Our wonderful van has got us to the white cliffs of Dover we will be sailing in 30 minutes to Calais. Met a great couple who were travelling to France in their motor home. They loved the idea of inclusion TV,
Leaving English soil. We are racing the P&O ship (they won us by 5 minutes)
The weather is beautiful, a spot of sunbathing as we have coffee and cake on the deck.
We travelled through France, Belgium and finally Germany. A few traffic jams, and wrong turns but 8 out of 10 for navigation.
After a 15 hour journey we are ready for a rest. The sun is setting upon the Rhine Valley. After a well deserved meal it is time for a rest. See you tomorrow
